GGAC Outdoor Program Conference
Scouters, come be a part of building the council strategic plan and the ideal year of Scouting!
On October 15-17, 2021, the Golden Gate Area Council will be holding its first outdoor program Conference at Camp Royaneh. The conference will begin on Friday evening with an informal meet and greet and Cracker Barrel. Bright and early on Saturday we will enjoy a welcome from our Vice President of Program and then set forth in breakouts based on our areas of interest under the broad categories of Advancement, Camping, and Training. We will bring in presenters and facilitators to help us learn and facilitate discussions to help our scouts get the most from our program. All ideas are welcome and encouraged!
By the end of the weekend our goal is to have a 2022 program calendar and a template for our council for years to come!
We will be hosting our participants in the village campsites in case of inclement weather. Each cabin has a wooden bunk bed, remember to bring a comfortable sleeping pad and sleeping bag. Day participants are also welcome.
