Request for Nominations
The Golden Gate Area Council is accepting nominations for the Silver Beaver Award to be presented at the Council Volunteer Celebration event on March 2, 2024.
The Silver Beaver Award is the highest honor the Council can present to recognize registered scouters of exceptional character who have provided distinguished service within the council. The focus of the nomination should be on how the volunteer has impacted the lives of youth in Scouting and the community.
The completed application form – see the links below – should be submitted, in coordination with your district Advancement Chair, not later than November 30, 2023 to ensure consideration by the selection committee.
The number of awards is strictly limited by the National Court of Honor. To avoid disappointment do not disclose the nomination to the proposed recipient.
