Powder Horn – 2021

Powder Horn is a training opportunity designed to expose Venturing and Scouts BSA Leaders leading older youth (14+) to activities and resources necessary to operate a successful High Adventure program. The aim is to give hands-on experience with a variety of high adventure activities so that you understand the planning, the type of equipment, the safety considerations and most important- contacts to qualified professionals and experts.

Powder Horn is a skills resource course held over 4-6 days. Each Powder Horn course is slightly different, but you can expect to see activities ranging from aquatics to mountain biking, rock climbing to shooting sports, well, you get the picture.
