2022 Annual Golden Gate Area Council Program Planning Retreat

Registration is now open for the 2022 Annual Golden Gate Area Council (GGAC) Program Planning Retreat, August 12-13 at Rancho Los Mochos. Join the council’s program committees as they map out council-level activities for the next three years (2023-2025). This is an opportunity to not only plan the calendar for our core programs, but to consider additional program-related activities for our council as we explore strategies to chart a path forward for GGAC’s program.

At the inaugural retreat last Fall, GGAC Program Committees (including Training, Advancement, and Camping – among others) met to develop the first consolidated activity calendar for our council. Detailed discussions were held about each of the program areas at the first official gathering for council volunteers.

We will kick off the weekend on Friday, August 12 with registration and a cracker barrel. A full agenda on Saturday will allow for calendar creation, group discussions, and general planning. Saturday is the key part of the weekend, so if you can only attend part of the weekend, we encourage you to be there on that day.
