Welcome Sarah McNamara
District Executive for Diablo Sunrise

Please join me in welcoming Sarah McNamara to our team. Sarah started with us on May 1 and serves as the Diablo Sunrise District Director.

 

Sarah McNamara has over 25 years’ experience in HR, organizational development, instruction, marketing, and project management.  After graduating from SFSU with a Bachelor’s in Speech Communications, Sarah was a Producer for the KTVU Mornings News Show.  She later became a Communications Specialist for Safeway where she educated employees on their benefits.  After obtaining her Master’s from USF, Sarah joined Alamo Learning Systems as their Director of Training and for 20 years was responsible for client improvement and crisis management.  For over 12 years, Sarah has taught K-5 art and directed an annual art expo showcasing her student’s work.  Sarah has also instructed children’s public speaking classes, coached 4H students, and coordinated K-8 oral interpretation fairs.  She recently acquired a Substitute Teacher Permit to teach grades K-12.  She is currently a PEC member at Alameda County Hospital, SSC Chairperson at Kimball High School, Tracy Woman’s Club member and Director and Steering Committee member of Animal Rescue of Tracy (ART).  At ART, she developed a student volunteer incentive program which was awarded at the 2019 Mayor’s Ball.  In 2022, she received the From the Heart award at the Tracy Chamber of Commerce for developing two more programs with ART, including a web-based training certification workshop and internship.  Sarah enjoys exploring nature, reading, and traveling with her family.
